Baptist Health Foundation recognizes that for our most vulnerable patients, there remains a gap between what people need and what they can afford to regain their health. To help bridge that gap, in 2016, BHF created its Patient Assistance Fund.

Each facility in the Brookwood Baptist Health system helps the Foundation to identify patients and evaluate their needs based on our charity care guidelines. Our facility based PAFs can be used to provide:

  • Medical services
  • Take home medications
  • Transportation
  • Food, utilities, clothing and other needs
  • Purchase of insurance
  • Other needs as determined by the oversight committee

If you have questions about our Patient Assistance Funds, please contact your hospital based social worker or case manager for further information.
