Bridging Gaps in Healthcare
When every part of the healthcare experience—from patient care to medical training and spiritual programming—is well supported, no one falls through the cracks.
Faith-Based Care for the Whole Person
Baptist Health is the only remaining faith-based healthcare system in Central Alabama.
Providing Healing Through Spiritual Care
When you walk into one of our hospitals, you know you're somewhere different. We meet you where you are, whatever your faith background, and we care for you as a whole person.
Providing Support for Hospitals, Team Members & Patients
Patient Assistance
No one should leave the hospital without a care plan because of cost. We help cover critical expenses in the first 30 days after a patient is discharged.
Team Member Support
When a Baptist Health team member faces an unexpected crisis, our benevolence fund provides emergency financial assistance so they can stay on their feet.
Spiritual Care
We believe that true healing comes from caring for the whole person, not just their physical needs. We fund chaplains, dedicated prayer spaces, and Christian art throughout our hospitals so spiritual care is built into the experience, not added as an afterthought.
Hospital Support
From cameras in the NICU that provide connection for families welcoming their newborns to enhanced medical education centers, we fund equipment and resources that help Baptist Health hospitals deliver exceptional care.
Serving Communities in Central Alabama
Because we sit inside the healthcare system, we spot gaps in the community faster than organizations that work from the outside. That proximity lets us respond quickly and put resources where they're needed most.
Community Support
We award grants to healthcare-adjacent nonprofits across Central Alabama, directing over $2.6 million toward organizations closing critical community health gaps.
Nursing Scholarships
We currently support 48 nursing students with scholarships, investing in the next generation of caregivers who will help address the current nursing shortage and serve Alabama for decades to come.
